Knowledge
The ability of any living organism to respond to its environment. As humans, we utilise not only our rational brain, but also our experience, feelings, beliefs, ambitions and all the atoms we have evolved over time. This is the biological role of knowledge.
Among the many definitions of knowledge in use, I distinguish six varieties: knowledge as uncontested truth, as a weapon, as a product, as accepted truth, as revealed truth and as responsive capacity.
